About STARFIELDS

We don't come into this world with an operating manual.

It can sometimes feel like we have to change ourselves to fit an array of pre-made molds. What are we meant to do with the pieces that don't fit? The parts that get set aside and ignored? Society is supposed to be the authority we turn to, but increasingly in the modern era our institutions have failed to provide convincing answers to the questions that really matter to us.

Like many, I have looked far and wide, searching through the pages of philosophy, the endless internet, the passions of work, friendship and family for a secret teaching that would explain it all.

Why are we here? What is my purpose?

As Jean Valjean might put it: Who am I?

Much to my surprise, and much like a romantic comedy, I found the answer in plain sight, right there all along, waiting not to be discovered, but to be noticed, to be taken seriously.

It's Astrology. It's always been Astrology.

Astrology just works. It explains everything. Once I realized this, it completely consumed me. When I am not discussing astrology I am reading about it. Or working on an app for it. And loving every second of it.

But here's what I've learned: understanding ourselves is only half the journey. The other half is learning how to mindfully tend to our relationships - like gardening, but for the soul. Each person in our life is like a unique plant with different needs, different seasons, different ways of flourishing. Astrology gives us the cosmic blueprint to understand not just ourselves, but how to nurture each precious connection.

STARFIELDS is a labor of love. It is a tool designed to help us reconnect to the wisdom that is each of our birthrights. It is my hope that through it people can learn why they are here, that they can learn how to be better friends, parents, lovers and colleagues to the people on this life's journey with them. That they can discover not just the meaning of life, but the meaning of their life - and how to cultivate the garden of relationships that make it beautiful.
