☿ ∠ ♆Mercury Semi-square Neptune
Your thoughts arrive slightly out of focus, like a radio station bleeding into the one next to it, and you've built a whole communication style around never quite naming the static.

What This Aspect Means
Mercury wants a clean signal. It wants to take the raw impulse of thought and hand it over in words that land the way you intended. Neptune doesn't traffic in clean signals. It specializes in the gap between what is felt and what can be said, and it has no interest in your deadline. Put them at forty-five degrees and you get a low, persistent friction: not a crisis, just a recurring glitch where your mind tries to say something exact and the meaning goes soft at the edges before it gets there.
This usually shows up as small, aggravating moments rather than big dramatic ones. You reach for a word and another one arrives instead. You explain something clearly to yourself and watch it come out muddled out loud. You know a fact and also feel, underneath it, that the fact isn't the whole story, and that double awareness makes you hesitate right when you need to be direct. It is Mercury's job to draw a line and Neptune's job to erode it, and you live at that erosion point.
Over time this aspect asks you to stop treating the fuzziness as a defect. It is not that your logic is broken. It is that your logic is being asked to make room for a kind of knowing that doesn't arrive in sentences first. The friction exists to keep forcing that negotiation until you find a way to speak from both places at once instead of picking one and distrusting the other.
How It Plays Out in Relationships
People sometimes have to ask you to repeat yourself, not because you're unclear in general, but because certain topics make your sentences drift. You start strong and end somewhere softer, hedged, qualified into vagueness. Partners and close friends learn to read your pauses as content, because what you don't finish saying is often the real information. The tricky part is that you can also absorb other people's moods and half-formed thoughts as if they were your own, then repeat them back with total conviction, and later can't remember whose idea it originally was.
In conflict this aspect makes you either maddeningly slippery or unexpectedly intuitive, depending on the day. You can sense what someone means before they've said it, which is a real gift in close relationships, but you can also use that same fog to avoid pinning yourself down to an actual position. The people who do best with you are the ones who don't demand instant clarity and instead let you circle a thing twice before you land on it.
Spun Gold
You read subtext before anyone states it, and you sense the shape of an idea before it has language, which means you often arrive at true conclusions by routes other people can't follow and therefore don't trust. The edge here is learning to state the intuition plainly and let the explanation catch up later, instead of holding your best insight hostage until you can fully justify it.
Advice for the Road
Say the unfinished thought out loud instead of workshopping it silently until it's presentable. Your first pass at an idea will feel too vague and too soon, and that is precisely the version other people need to hear, because your polished version usually sands off the exact thing you were sensing. Let people ask follow-up questions instead of trying to preempt every one of them in your own head first.
