You also need real water: literal time near it, or unstructured time where nothing is being sought, learned, or explained. Rest that isn't a destination. It will feel unproductive. Do it anyway.

Advice for the Road

Chase the rainbow all you want, but at some point let it end. Pick one search, finish it, and sit with what you find even if it's smaller than the myth you built around it. The dissolving and the seeking are not actually opposites, you already know this, you just have to stop using one to dodge the other.
