You bond with people through what's broken in you, not despite it, and somehow it never costs you what it costs everyone else.

What This Aspect Means

This aspect gives you a strange fluency: the place where you are most tender and the place where you commit to another person are not enemies. For most people the wound has to be hidden before the vow can be made, or the vow has to be broken before the wound gets named. You skip that whole negotiation. Your capacity to bind yourself to someone and your capacity to show them where you're cracked run on the same current.

What life keeps asking of you is not to heal before you love, but to let the two things happen at once, because in you they already do. You don't need a partner to rescue you from your history. You need one willing to let your history be part of the architecture, and you have an unusual, almost unfair ease finding people who can do that.

The risk with this kind of ease is that you never learn to distinguish it from something more effortful and more chosen. Because the wound flows so naturally into the bond, you can mistake any relationship that absorbs your pain for a good one, when what actually matters is whether the person on the other side is building something with you, not just holding what you hand them.

How It Plays Out in Relationships

You show people your damage early, usually without meaning to make a strategy of it, and it tends to work. Partners often say they knew you fast, faster than they expected to, because you didn't perform composure while you got to know them. Friends come to you with their own wreckage because something in you signals that it's safe to. The danger is subtler than getting hurt: it's building bonds around shared damage instead of shared life, so that the relationship stays a tending station instead of becoming an actual partnership between two whole people.

Spun Gold

You carry an unforced talent for turning what's broken into what's shared, and you underuse it by treating it as ordinary. Most people spend years learning to be vulnerable inside commitment without it curdling into either performance or collapse. You arrived knowing how. Use it deliberately: as a mentor, a partner, a friend who others come back to specifically because you never made them earn your honesty.

Advice for the Road

Stop waiting for this to get hard before you take it seriously. Ease is not the same as unimportance. Choose your bonds for who the person actually is, not just for how quickly they let you be wounded in front of them, and keep tending what you've built even when nothing is currently on fire.
