Trine

A trine links two planets a hundred and twenty degrees apart, almost always in the same element, and it describes a channel where things simply work. The two functions support each other without effort, producing natural talent, ease, and a certain quiet luck in that area of life. The catch is that ease teaches nothing. Trines are frequently taken for granted, the gifts so native they feel unremarkable to the person who has them, obvious only to everyone else. At their best trines are the chart's reservoir of confidence and flow. At their laziest they are potential enjoyed rather than developed. The work of a trine is to value what costs you nothing, and to spend it on purpose.
