☉ ⚼ ⚹Sun Sesquiquadrate Vertex
You experience the people who show up uninvited as an ambush on your plans, and the plans usually win the first round. Slowly, though, they get their say.

What This Aspect Means
The Sun wants authorship. It wants to be the source of its own story, the thing everyone else orbits, however quietly. The Vertex does not care about your authorship. It is the door that opens on its own schedule, admitting the teacher, the stranger, the wrong person at the right time, the meeting you did not arrange and cannot decline. With this aspect, those two facts keep grinding against each other. You are trying to project yourself outward on your own terms, and life keeps interrupting with an encounter that has terms of its own.
This is not a smooth partnership between self and fate. It is friction, recurring and specific. Just as you get your bearings, someone or something arrives that requires you to adjust who you thought you were being. The adjustment is rarely graceful the first time. You resist it, treat it as noise, keep pushing your own agenda through the interruption instead of pausing to ask what it wants from you.
What life keeps asking of you is not to abandon your self-direction, but to build enough flexibility into it that an uninvited arrival does not have to derail you to change you. Right now the two run on separate tracks that occasionally collide. The work is building a self sturdy enough to be altered without shattering.
How It Plays Out in Relationships
The people who matter most to you rarely arrive through your usual channels. You did not select them the way you select a hobby or a haircut. They showed up, often at an inconvenient moment for your self-image, and asked you to be someone slightly different than the person you were mid-project. Your first instinct is often irritation. You had a plan. This wasn't in it.
With partners and close friends, this tends to produce a pattern: you assert your identity hard and early, almost defensively, as if to get ahead of whatever change they're about to demand. Later, often much later, you notice the actual effect you had on them in that first collision, and it can be uncomfortable to reckon with how much you steamrolled the meeting trying to stay the author of your own scene.
Spun Gold
Your real strength is durability under revision. You can be fundamentally altered by another person without losing the thread of who you are, which is rarer than it sounds. Most people either refuse to be changed or dissolve completely into whoever shows up. You can do both at once, keep your center and let the door open. You just have to stop treating the opening as an insult to your schedule.
Advice for the Road
When someone arrives out of nowhere and knocks your plans sideways, resist the urge to immediately reassert yourself over them. Sit with the specific disruption long enough to see what it's actually asking you to fix. Later, go back and check what your need to be centered did to the person who showed up. That second look is the part you tend to skip, and it's the part that actually changes you.
