The Sun
The self—that mysterious fountain of being. There is an intimation that the self of our daily lives connects, in some profound way, to the same Self of Hindu cosmology: Atman. When we consider what the meaning of life might be, one theory resonates above others: that God, the One, in order to experience Itself, needed a world into which It could differentiate. We are, then, each a sliver of the universal God, our souls royal seeds planted by the Cosmic Gardener.
The Sun sign reveals the frequency at which our essential nature vibrates.
Fire Suns bask in the light of being. Blessed by the Gods, they feel themselves to be incarnations of the mystery behind reality, though they may rush in where angels fear to tread.
Air Suns tap into the universal mind, exulting in the dance and interplay of ideas, yet they may suffer from a lack of depth, becoming lost in the clouds of thought.
Water Suns attune themselves to the cosmic vibrations that prefigure and permeate all things, though they risk drowning in the whirlpool of feeling and emotion.
Earth Suns are nature's true children, attuned to the laws of life and the joys of their unfolding. Yet they may find themselves unprepared for the chaotic emergence of the new that always accompanies life's authentic expression.
