What Makes You Tick

You will not ask for this. You'll say you're fine, that you don't need anyone's validation, that the idea is enough. It isn't, quite. Let the few people who see past the mane actually reach you.

Advice for the Road

Stop treating the stage as the goal. It's the delivery mechanism. Use it, take your bow, then go find the one or two people who can actually receive what you're offering and give them the real version, unperformed. And when a vision arrives feeling like absolute truth, run it past someone who loves you before you stake your whole stubborn self on it. Not everyone who resists you is the establishment. Sometimes they're just trying to keep you from marching off a cliff.
