Aries Sun, Aries Moon
There is no cooling system. What you want, you want now, and you want it out loud, which is either the most refreshing thing about you or the most exhausting, depending on the day.
What Makes You Tick
You are organized around the next thing, not the last one. Most people need time to recover from a fight, a failure, a big swing that didn't land. You need the next swing. The feeling of forward motion is not a preference for you, it's closer to oxygen, and when it stops you get strange and restless in ways you don't always understand yourself.
Because your identity and your feelings run on the same fuel, there's no internal negotiation happening most of the time. What you feel, you do. What you want, you go get. This is not impulsiveness in the shallow sense, it's closer to conviction that hasn't been asked to slow down and explain itself. You are, underneath the noise, trying to prove something exists by doing it. Not thinking about it. Doing it.
You are secretly organizing your whole life around the question of whether you can still be first, still be new, still be the one who starts things instead of the one who inherits them. Being second, being managed, being told to wait your turn, these register less like inconveniences and more like small deaths.
The You Everyone Meets
People clock you fast. You walk in decisive, you talk in short declarative sentences, you make decisions in the room instead of after it. There's no performance gap here, which is rare and people either find it thrilling or alarming. What you feel, they get, more or less immediately, because you were never built for the long con of concealment.
What they miss is how much of this is instinct rather than strategy. You're not calculating the effect of your directness, you simply don't have a filter that slows the signal down. So the confidence reads as bravado sometimes, when it's really just an absence of the hesitation everyone else is running.
Your Blind Spots
You already suspect this: your urgency is not always about the thing itself, it's about needing to feel something happening. You will manufacture a fight, a deadline, a crisis, if the alternative is stillness. Ask yourself honestly how many of your conflicts this month you actually needed.
You also don't linger long enough to notice what you've stepped on. Not out of cruelty, you genuinely move too fast to look back. People you've steamrolled remember it far longer than you do, and your surprise when they bring it up later is not an act, you truly forgot, which somehow makes it worse for them.
What You Need (Even If You'd Never Admit It)
You need something to push against that won't collapse when you push it, because the version of you that gets everything handed over easily gets bored and a little mean. A worthy opponent, a hard project, a person who doesn't flinch, these keep you honest.
You also need, more than you'll admit, permission to stop. Not forever, just for an afternoon. Physical exhaustion is often the only thing that gets you there, so a hard run or a real fight does more for your nervous system than any conversation about your feelings will.
Advice for the Road
Build in a pause before the fight, not after it, because you will always find the fight, the only question is whether you chose it on purpose. Let something finish before you start the next thing, just once a week, and notice what you learn from staying that you never learn from leaving.
