Libra Sun, Virgo Moon, Virgo Rising
You research the fair decision until it's also the correct one, then miss the deadline anyway. Somewhere between the pro-con list and the final draft, you forgot the choice was supposed to feel good.
What Makes You Tick
You're built to weigh things. That's the Libra job: hold up every option to the light, find the balance point, produce the pleasing result. But your inner weighing doesn't stay aesthetic for long. It gets audited. You don't just want the fair choice, you want the defensible one, the one that survives scrutiny from every angle before you'll commit to it out loud.
That's the real engine. Somewhere along the way, being right stopped being enough. You're organizing your life around being unimpeachably right, decisions so thoroughly checked that no one, including the harshest voice in your own head, can find the flaw. Every fork in the road becomes a small trial where you're both the defendant and the judge.
The cost is that decisions take longer than they should, because you've turned Libra's elegant weighing into Virgo's endless proofreading. You're not just choosing between Hera and Athena anymore. You're choosing, then checking your choice, then checking the checking.
The You Everyone Meets
People don't experience you as indecisive. They experience you as competent. You show up having already done the homework, noticed the typo, thought three steps further than anyone asked you to. There's a calm, capable surface, the person quietly running quality control on the room without making a show of it.
What they don't see is the weighing happening underneath that surface, hidden now behind a face that looks like it already has the answer. You've gotten so good at appearing decided that people forget to ask if you actually are.
Your Blind Spots
You confuse refining something with caring about it, and you expect others to read it the same way. When you edit someone's plan, fix their sentence, point out the flaw they missed, you mean it as devotion. It often lands as judgment. You're not wrong that you're exacting. You are.
You also use standards as a stalling tactic. "It's not ready" is a very respectable way to avoid saying "I haven't chosen yet." And because Virgo makes self-scrutiny feel like self-knowledge, you can spend years critiquing yourself and mistake it for actually knowing what you want. Those are not the same project, though yours have started to look identical from the outside.
What You Need (Even If You'd Never Admit It)
You need somewhere the standard is allowed to be good enough, not perfect. A person who can tell you, credibly, that the draft is done. Physical order helps, an uncluttered desk does more for your nervous system than any pep talk. You also need permission to make a call and let the other doors close without narrating every flaw in the one you picked.
You will not ask for this, but you recover fastest around people who are decisive without being reckless, who model choosing well without the second-guessing tour.
Advice for the Road
Give yourself real deadlines with actual consequences, not soft internal ones you can quietly extend. Pick one person whose judgment you trust and let them have final say on the small stuff, groceries, restaurant, font choice, so the loop has somewhere to stop. And retire the habit of editing your own feelings before you let anyone see them. They don't need footnotes. Neither do you.
