What Makes You Tick

You're built to improve things. Sentences, systems, people's half-finished plans. That's the Virgo engine, and it never fully switches off. The You Everyone Meets

People experience you as capable, cool, faintly amused by the disorder around you. You're the one who actually knows how the process is supposed to work, and you say so plainly, without much emotional decoration. This reads as confidence. It's really a kind of remove: it's easier to comment accurately on a mess than to admit you're standing in the middle of your own.

You're warm in a general, evenly distributed way rather than a singling-out way. People like you before they feel close to you, because closeness requires a version of you that takes longer to show itself. You don't withhold on purpose. You just genuinely believe the important part of you is the ideas, and everyone can access those.

Your Blind Spots

You need friends before you need anything resembling a traditional partnership, people who treat your strangeness as interesting rather than inconvenient. You need permission to be wrong occasionally without immediately auditing yourself for it. Long stretches of unstructured time help, not for laziness, but because your best insights arrive sideways, uninvited, never on schedule. You do better with one or two people who ask what you actually feel and then wait, patiently, past the point where you'd normally give them the analyzed version instead of the real one.

Advice for the Road

Say the unedited thing at least once a week, to someone who won't fix it or file it. Let being right lose to being close occasionally, on purpose. And stop mistaking your foresight for other people's failure to catch up; sometimes they're just not going where you're going, and that's allowed.
