Stop auditing your feelings before you let anyone see them. Pick one person and practice saying the unfinished, unfixed version out loud, even the version where you don't know what's wrong yet. The world will not fall apart if you show up mid-process. It might actually be the first time someone gets to take care of you instead of your explanation of yourself.
