What Makes You Tick

You are organizing your life around a paradox and you know it. Leo wants to be seen, singled out, applauded by name. You also need permission to be uncool sometimes. To want the hug instead of the ovation. Find one or two people who get past the detachment, who you let see you sulk, want, need. That access, rationed as it is, is what actually recharges you, not another idea, not another cause, not another room full of people nodding along.

Advice for the Road

Stop pretending the spotlight is beneath you. Lead the thing you believe in, take the bow, let people know it mattered to you personally that it worked. The cause does not get diminished because you also wanted credit. And pick a few people to let past the cool distance completely, even when it feels like giving up your advantage. Being known specifically, not just admired generally, is the actual prize, and you are allowed to want it.
