You need your body comfortable and your mind occupied at once, and you will rearrange your schedule without admitting it to make sure both happen.

You also need permission to be bored sometimes without treating it as an emergency. Not every quiet stretch needs filling. But mostly you need at least one person who will sit with you, talk to you, and not ask you to perform or produce anything. That's rarer than you think, and you know it when you find it.

Pick your story and actually live in it instead of keeping six versions open so you never have to lose one. Your stubbornness is a strength when you use it on purpose, so stop hiding it behind charm and just commit out loud. And let the shine serve something besides your own comfort once in a while.
