Taurus Sun, Scorpio Moon, Cancer Rising

You build a warm, solid nest and then quietly interrogate everyone who enters it for signs of betrayal. Comfortable and dangerous, like a very well-appointed trap.

What Makes You Tick

You want to stay. That's the whole plot, at the center of it: find the good grass, the good couch, the good person, and never leave. But underneath the wanting-to-stay is a Scorpio Moon that doesn't trust anything it hasn't tested, and testing takes time. So you build slow, and you build to last, and while you're building you're also watching, cataloguing tells, running the person you love through private trials they never agreed to.

What you're organizing your life around isn't comfort for its own sake. It's proof. You want the kind of bond that survives the underworld, not just the picnic. Taurus in you says sit and savor. Scorpio in you says savor it, but keep one hand on the knife until you're sure. Most people never see the knife. That's the point.

When you finally decide something or someone is real, you hold on with a grip that looks like devotion and sometimes is possession wearing devotion's clothes. You know the difference. You just don't always look at it directly.

The You Everyone Meets

You read as soft. Nurturing, homey, the one who remembers how people take their coffee and notices when someone's had a bad week before they've said a word. People relax around you fast, hand you their soft parts, assume you're an open book because you're so good at making a room feel safe.

They're only meeting the shell. What's underneath the crab suit is patient, watchful, and not nearly as easy to read as the warmth suggests. You let people in close, feed them, fuss over them, and quietly keep score.

Your Blind Spots

You confuse feeding someone with controlling them, and you're not always sure which one you're doing. The casseroles, the check-ins, the remembering of details, some of it is love and some of it is a way of keeping people tethered so they don't get any ideas about leaving. You already suspect this.

You also don't confront directly. You test. A small withdrawal here, a pointed silence there, a button pushed to see who flinches. It works until it doesn't, until the person you loved most finally gets tired of being quietly examined and tells you so, and you're genuinely shocked, because from where you sat it just looked like paying attention.

What You Need (Even If You'd Never Admit It)

An actual physical base you're not afraid to invest in fully, not a rental you keep one foot out of. A slow ritual with your own body and senses that has nothing to do with anyone watching or approving. And at least one relationship where you say the suspicious thing out loud instead of engineering a small crisis to confirm it.

You also need to be nursed occasionally, not just do the nursing. Someone allowed to fuss over you without you managing the whole operation from behind the counter.

Advice for the Road

Stop running the tests. If you need to know whether someone's loyal, ask them, plainly, in daylight, and let the answer be enough. Pick one thing you're gripping out of fear rather than love and loosen your hand on it this month. You'll survive it. The grass will still be there.
