What restores you, even if you'd never phrase it this way, is being around people who accept the weird, unfinished, contrarian parts of you without trying to smooth them out. Somewhere that isn't work and isn't family, where the mask can come off and the ideas can run loose.

Pick fewer fights and finish one of them all the way through before you start the next. Let your restlessness fuel the next idea instead of using it as an exit from the current one, and find at least one person who's fast enough to keep pace with your mind but stubborn enough to make you stay in the room when you'd rather bolt.
