You are built to weigh things. Two options, five options, the pros and cons of a restaurant, a relationship, a haircut. You also need someone in your life who will just call the decision sometimes, not because you can't, but because being relieved of the weighing, even once, feels like putting down a bag you didn't realize you were carrying.

Comfort matters more to you than you'll admit. Good food, a familiar chair, something beautiful to look at while your mind is elsewhere. These aren't luxuries for you, they're maintenance. Without them the deliberating and the pushing both get louder.

Advice for the Road

Give yourself a real deadline on decisions and honor it the way you'd honor a promise to someone else. When you notice you're gathering more opinions after you already know the answer, stop and just say the answer. It will feel rude. It's actually kinder than making everyone wait for a verdict you'd already reached.
