Let the fire burn all the way down before you call the fight finished, don't mistake the urge to leave for the arrival of clarity. Pick fewer battles and go all the way into them instead of a fast decisive exit that just resets the clock. And warn people occasionally that the weather's about to change. The stillness is a gift, but it isn't fair to let it double as camouflage.
