What Makes You Tick

You want the truth. Not the polite version, not the version that keeps everyone comfortable, but the thing underneath it. You also need real solitude, not performed solitude. You'll resist scheduling it. Schedule it anyway.

Stop auditing the moment for fairness before you say the true thing. The perfect moment is a myth you invented to avoid the imperfect one in front of you.
